Pet Peeves
You can learn a lot about someone by knowing what truly irks them more than anything else. What’s perfectly tolerable to one, may drive another absolutely up the wall. Here’s my on-going list:
- Drivers who leave too much space in front of their car when stopped in traffic
- People who don’t turn right on red when it’s legal to
- Slow drivers in the fast lane
- GPS devices that take forever to acquire a satellite signal (e.g. our Garmin Nuvi 320)
- People who don’t hold the door for you when you’re walking in behind them
- Responding only to a subset of the questions I posed to you in an email
- Places that don’t accept credit/debit cards
- People who park straddling the line so as to take up 2 spaces to protect their precious automobile.
